India has a way of staying with you long after you’ve left. It’s not just the sights, though the shimmering domes of the Taj Mahal, the pink painted streets of Jaipur, and the majesty of the Amber Fort are unforgettable, it’s the feeling. The heartbeat of the country seems to echo through every temple, every monument, every burst of colour and sound that greets you as soon as you step onto the street.
From the chaos of the cities to the peaceful countryside as we travelled between locations, India revealed its contrasts with grace. I wandered through ancient forts that told stories of maharajas and mogul emperors, and stood in awe before spiritual places that seemed to hum with devotion. Every region felt like a different world, and yet somehow, all perfectly connected.
The beauty of India isn’t just in its monuments or landscapes, it’s in its spirit. It’s in the vibrant colour, the rich spices that fill the air, and the way the culture permeates every inch of this magnificent country.
As I look back on my week in this wonderful country, I’m filled with gratitude. India showed me that beauty can be found in both the grand and the everyday, in stillness and in chaos, in tradition and in change. It’s a place that doesn’t just open your eyes, but your heart.
This adventure wouldn’t have been the possible without the kindness and support of a some incredible people that I owe my thanks to. I am so overwhelmingly grateful to each and every one of them for making this trip so much more magical than I could have ever imagined.

My tour group –
Peter, Lauren, Rachael, Katherine, Alexa and Summer, you are 6 of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure of meeting and I am so lucky I got to spend a magical week with you.
Before leaving for India I was anxious not knowing who I was going to be travelling with and what the group dynamic would be like. However from the first moment I met each of you I was completely at ease and excited about what the week was going to bring. I didn’t just walk away from this trip with memories, but with some incredible new friends.
